As of January 2025, I am a post doc researcher at Penn State in the Political Science and Women, Gender and Sexuality Studies departments. I earned my Ph.D. in the department of Political Science at Rutgers University, with a certificate in Women & Gender Studies in January 2025.

My work focuses at the intersections of gender, race, parenthood and voter behavior in primarily American political contexts. I take a mixed-method approach in my research, including survey experiments, text analysis, and in-depth case study work.

My book project investigates the strategic value of motherhood appeals for congressional candidates and addresses whether maternal (feminine) strategies serves as a universally beneficial campaign strategy.
